Walter Beyen

Walter founded Vectis in 2004, together with Stefaan Vanquaethem, and can draw on more than 20 years of experience in private equity for start-ups and SMEs.

Since Vectis was founded, Walter has been actively involved as a partner in the negotiation, realisation and follow-up of investment files, and has director experience in more than 25 growth companies.

Between 1996 and 2003, Walter held investment manager and director positions at two investment funds (Indas and Trustcapital Partners), and was an industrial advisor at Banque Bruxelles Lambert (now ING).

Walter is a civil engineer (Ghent 1986) and holds an MBA from the Vlerick Management School (1991).
