The Searchers has grown into one of the leading film distribution companies in the Benelux, with offices in Antwerp and Amsterdam. At a time when linear television was losing market share and DVDs were disappearing, The Searchers reinforced its original belief that the digital market and cinema can perfectly coexist. Since its founding 10 years ago, a catalog of more than 400 titles has been built, including both American blockbusters and auteur films.
In February 2025, Vectis sold its stake.
