Vectis invests in CES

CES, the ‘architect of building technologies’, is an engineering office, headquartered in Asse, providing services in the fields of energy, technical installations, sustainability and smart building.

CES (https://www.ces.be/) guides the entire process from A to Z: from concept on design & study work, permits, detailed plan, execution to delivery. CES has built up a lot of experience on tall buildings (>50m) and realises projects in offices, residential towers, retail, student accomodation, government buildings etc., this both for new construction and renovation of existing buildings. With a team of c. 70 employees, primarily engineers, CES is one of the leading engineering offices focusing on the Belgian and Luxembourg market.

Customers of CES are both large promotors as well as future occupants. The energy transition and need for sustainable, CO2-neutral buildings are important drivers in the market, ensuring positive long term outlooks.

We believe in the growth potential of CES, having the ambition, in addition to organic growth, to further diversify in additional disciplines (e.g. stability, acoustics, facility management,…) through a “Buy & Build” strategy with active support from Vectis”, said Stefaan Vanquaethem.

For Vectis Private Equity, CES is the 5th investment in fund Vectis IV, founded in 2021. In 2022, Vectis IV invested in SBE Engineering, an engineering office focused on complex public infrastructure and hydraulic engineering.
