Vectis Private Equity is realising the first investment of its Vectis IV fund. This fund was raised at the beginning of this year with committed capital of EUR 80 million.
Through the companies E.T.I. V. Vandenven, Siegers Technics, ETI Partner and Clima & Partners, Building Technology is currently active in the installation of building solutions including
electricity, domotics, security, heating, cooling and ventilation (HVAC), sanitary facilities, solar energy and environmentally innovative techniques.
As of today, the parent company will be known as Building Technology, thus underlining its commitment to broaden its range of solutions for building infrastructure in which the technology component is becoming increasingly important. Within its field of multitechnics, Building Technology is a solid medium-sized group with its headquarters in Antwerp. The group realises a turnover of approximately EUR 45 million and employs a total of over 225 people.
The group is one of the most effective installation companies and has a good track record of organic growth and integration of selective acquisitions. The intention is to maintain this momentum and actively look for buy & build opportunities in various building technologies.
Luc Ost, Managing Director of Building Technology, explains: “We are a durable and ambitious group of interconnected, complementary and highly customer-oriented SMEs. We see that our customers are evolving towards requiring a “one-stop-shop” for multi-technics in construction. Our customers drive us to grow and provide a more complete and tailored service offering. In order to continue our growth story, I have opted to bring an external partner on board who can guide our group through this expansion process (both organic expansion and via acquisitions) and professionalisation. With its experience in scaling up successful SMEs, Vectis Private Equity was able to convince me that it was the right partner for our group and I am looking forward to a successful collaboration.”
