Indu-Tools, an industrial tools rental company, based in Rotterdam, has acquired a majority stake in I-Rental, its Antwerp-based competitor.
The management teams of both companies are eager to join forces and integrate both organisations. As such, the joint rental fleet will be deployed even more efficiently at its customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. Naturally, the customer service in these regions will also benefit from the bundling of know-how.
Vectis Private Equity was invested in I-Rental since 2017. With this exit, Vectis contributes to an attractive industrial project, bringing together two equal players with a complementary rental park, active in adjacent geographies. Vectis wishes the combined management team all the best in their future expansion of the international rental group.
Indu-Tools specialises in the rental of machinery and tools for industrial companies, metal and offshore industry. More specifically, it rents out welding equipment, pneumatic -, hydraulic – and electric tools, as well as supplies electricity, air and light. Indu-Tools offers a complete package of services to customers during turnarounds and projects, going as far as to man an on-site shop. Indu-Tools is based in Rotterdam and has branches in Beverwijk, as well as at the Esso and Shell sites in Rotterdam.
I-Rental focuses on the integral supply of industrial tools and temporary utilities (light, air and electricity), both for contractors and end customers, during shut-downs, projects and regular maintenance works.
